LSS CHOICES for Victims of Domestic Violence is the only domestic violence focused shelter in Franklin County providing a safe-haven and 24-hour crisis and information hotline. CHOICES also offers counseling services and support groups, legal and community advocates, and domestic violence awareness and prevention education. CHOICES offers services that help people begin to heal and recover from the trauma of their abuse and gain independence and self-sufficiency.

You can help by providing housewarming kitchen kits to residents and families transitioning out of shelter. Each year, we need approximately 75 Kitchen Kits to help set our clients on their new path. Receiving this wonderful kitchen kit means so much to those we serve and helps transform victims into survivors.

  • Plates, bowls and drinking cups (set of 4, preferably durable and lightweight)

  • Baking sheet
  • Kitchen towel and oven mitt
  • Kitchen utensils (spatula, can opener, pizza cutter)
